On Finding the Common Thread
Everything in the universe is connected in some way or another. Sandstorms in Africa provide the sediment that will eventually feed oxygen-producing creatures in the ocean bordering South America. Ants provide protection for trees against other predators in exchange for their sap.
The same goes for ideas. Every religion in existence shares a common thread somewhere just as every great leader has similar characteristics in how they influence others.
As a human, it’s up to you to take your knitting needles out and start weaving together the common threads that impact your own life. Don’t be afraid to read works from people that you may not necessarily agree with and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone.
We all share the same basic makeup and once you begin to dive into a vast assortment of different ideas you’ll begin to see those common laws of existence. Once you find them, it’s ultimately up to you on how you integrate them.
Find the common thread.
