The Dichotomy of Confidence

What is confidence?

It opens the door to growth and can shut it just as fast.

It’s attractive in the right dose, but a turn-off when over administered.

It can make a career just as quickly as it can tarnish one.

Confidence is balance.

If you’re taking the next step in your career or want to strengthen personal relationships you need confidence.

But how much is too much?

Where do you lose your humanity and where do you cement it?

Start by being more intentional with what you say. Wait the extra second to speak.

Choosing your words wisely allows you to anchor yourself with that statement and not have to immediately redact it.

That’s confidence.

Holding someone’s gaze when you make a promise and not diving into a sea of impossibilities.

That’s confidence.
